The Engineering program at UWA has been developed in consultation with industry to equip you with skills to succeed in your future career. To become a professionally qualified engineer, you'll complete five years of study, consisting of a three-year undergraduate degree with an Engineering Science major, followed by a two-year Master of Professional Engineering. In your first year of study, you'll complete a broad range of units before moving on to a specialised area of engineering in your second and third years. Areas of specialisation include biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical and electronic, environmental, mechanical, mining or software engineering. The course structure provides flexibility to sample diverse units to discover an area of focus for the Master Professional Engineering.
