Structure The course is structured in three parts: Part A. Advanced preparatory, Part B. Mastery knowledge and Part C. Application studies. Part A. Advanced preparatory These studies will introduce you to core business disciplines and the impact they have within organisations. The units cover various disciplines and further your understanding of complex business environments. Part B. Mastery knowledge The focus of these studies is to develop your specialist expertise in a business discipline and provide the research skills or knowledge needed either to undertake independent research or for the capacity to work and communicate across the borders of discipline, context or culture. Part C. Application studies The focus of these studies is professional or scholarly work that can contribute to a portfolio of professional development. Master's entry points Depending on prior qualifications you may receive entry level credit (a form of block credit) which determines your point of entry to the course: If you are admitted at entry level 1 you must complete 96 points, comprising Part A, Part B and Part C. If you are admitted at entry level 2 you must complete 72 points, comprising Part B and Part C. If you are admitted at entry level 3 you must complete 48 points, comprising Part Ba. (24 points) and 24 points from Part Bb. and Part Bc. Note 1: If you are admitted at entry level 3 you will be unable to complete a specialisation. Note 2: If you are eligible for credit for prior studies you may elect not to receive the credit and complete one of the higher credit-point options. Requirements 96 credit points Expand all Part A.
