Part one You may study four units from the following list, or three units from the following list with a further unit chosen from any of the other LLM programmes: Carriage of Goods Corporate Goveranance in the UK and US EU Trade Law Global Perspectives on Corporate Governance Intellectual Property International Commercial Arbitration International Commercial Litigation International Corporate Finance International Law of Trade and Aid Law of E-Commerce Public Contract Law Regulation of Financial Markets and Institutions Secured Transactions Law World Trade Law Please note that unit choices are subject to change depending on staff availability. Assessment is by examination in the summer term. Some units are also assessed via a coursework component. Part two In the Spring Term, you will choose a topic for a 12,000-word dissertation within the field of International Commercial Law, for approval by the Law School. After passing Part One, you start work on your dissertation for submission by mid- September. You must pass both parts to obtain an LLM and may not proceed to Part Two until you have passed Part One.
